Hairdressing

Date: 26th May 2016 @ 12:54pm

As a Headteacher my job is varied from taking assemblies to employing staff, managing the budget to ensure that we can pay the teacher’s salaries and cut the grass on the field. No days are the same. I have to attend lots of meetings in school and out of school at the Civic Centre. I enjoy the variety but I have to say today started differently from any other day.

Today I gave one of the guinea pigs a haircut. The guinea pigs go out during the day to their hutch on the grass and when I picked up Oreo yesterday he looked very hairy. I asked for volunteers to do the haircut but staff and pupils seemed reluctant. As the Headteacher I have to do the job no one else wants to do.

So I had Grace holding Oreo and he is now looking a little smarter, despite my minimal hairdressing skills!
